1. Who we are

Striano LLC, 721 US 1 suite 217, North Palm Beach, FL 33408, United States (“Striano”, “we”, “us”) operates the Striano Portal (the “Portal”), a web application where our clients and our internal team manage software support requests, estimates, roadmaps, contracts, billing and invoicing.

This policy covers the Portal and its connection to QuickBooks Online. Our public website has its own policy at https://striano.io/privacy-policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, work email, role, organization and language preference.
  • Client content: support requests (tickets), comments, attachments, estimates, roadmaps, contracts and signed documents that you or we upload to the Portal.
  • Billing data: legal name, tax identification number (for example CUIT or EIN), billing address and email, invoices, payments received and withholdings.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, access and error logs, and security events.
  • Data from QuickBooks Online, described in section 4.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data. Please do not upload it.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the Portal, handle support requests, prepare estimates and contracts, issue and track invoices and payments, communicate with you about your account and requests, improve the Portal, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

4. QuickBooks Online integration

Striano connects the Portal to Striano LLC’s own QuickBooks Online company using Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 authorization. Clients of Striano do not connect their own QuickBooks accounts to the Portal.

  • Permission requested: com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting.
  • What we read and write: customers, products or services, invoices, their payment status and invoice PDFs.
  • Why: to create the invoices that Striano LLC issues from approved billing items, to record each invoice’s number and identifier in the Portal, and to keep its payment status up to date.
  • What we never receive: your QuickBooks password. Authorization happens on Intuit’s own pages.
  • Tokens: the access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted, with access limited to the Portal’s services. They never appear in logs or screens.
  • Disconnecting: the connection can be revoked at any time from the Intuit account that authorized it. When it is revoked or disconnected, we delete the stored tokens.
  • Use limits: we use QuickBooks data only for the purposes above. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it beyond the providers listed in section 6 that are necessary to run the Portal.
  • Retention: invoices and related records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require (7 years).

5. Artificial intelligence features

The Portal uses AI models (Anthropic Claude, accessed through Microsoft Azure AI) to propose a classification of a support request, an estimate, or the fields read from a contract or an invoice. The text or document is sent to the provider only to produce that proposal. AI only proposes: a person reviews and confirms before anything is saved or sent to a client. Under our provider’s terms, content sent for processing is not used to train its models.

6. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Portal, under contracts that limit how they may use it:

  • Microsoft Azure (hosting, database, file storage and AI services) and Azure DevOps (work item tracking).
  • Sentry (error monitoring).
  • Intuit QuickBooks Online (invoicing for Striano LLC).
  • DocuSign (electronic signature of contracts).
  • TusFacturas (electronic invoicing for Argentina).

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer, with notice to you.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access, secrets kept in a managed vault, and audit logs of sensitive actions. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as the law requires.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account or agreement is active and afterwards as needed for legal, accounting and dispute purposes. You may ask us to correct or delete your information, subject to those obligations.

9. International processing

Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our providers operate. We apply the safeguards required by applicable law.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to some uses. To exercise these rights, write to hello@striano.io.

11. Children

The Portal is for business use and is not directed to children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date, and notify account holders of material changes.
